Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area, greet and welcome clients and patients, answer questions and triage client concerns, answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution, schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, check in and check out clients and process payments. Our receptionists offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients and must be comfortable with various medical outcomes.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ER Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency Room team! The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for providing high-quality care to animals in a fast-paced environment.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

Animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, venipuncture, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.

• Triage and patient restraint for exams and treatments

• Skilled sample collection and in-house laboratory diagnostics

• Anesthetic induction and monitoring

• Surgical prep and assistance, including orthopedic procedures

• Radiographic imaging (digital full-body and dental)

• Hospitalized patient care, medication administration, and treatment support

• Clear, compassionate communication with clients regarding care plans and procedures
